Personal information / uses

Protection of your personal information is extremely important to MSV. The decision whether to supply us with this information or not - e.g. during registration, a survey, etc. - rests solely with you. 
While this information is relevant to your requests, it is provided to us by you on a voluntary basis.
For some business processes (e.g. sending out packages, payment per credit card), personal information must be passed on to third parties (e.g. the postal service, bank).
We will not sell your personal information to third parties or market it in any other way!

Initially, we only store and process your personal information to the extent required to fulfil our existing contractual and legal obligations to you. To the extent that we want to use your personal information for other purposes, for example in order to inform you about current promotions, we will obtain your express consent in advance. You may revoke your consent at any time without following a particular form.

 

If you revoke your consent, we will cease using your personal information for the specified additional purpose in a timely manner. We ask for your understanding in regards to the fact that processing your revocation may take up to 3 working days after it is received.

 
Data automatically collected on our website / usage data

We invite everyone to visit and use our website at no charge and to browse the products we offer. When you visit our website, we record your IP address (e.g. the internet address of your computer, not your e-mail address) and other general usage data in order to evaluate what parts of our website you visit and how much time you spend there.
This information is combined with the usage data for all users who visit our website in order to measure the number of visitors, the average time spent on our website, the pages that are accessed, etc. The data collected by us is summarised and used solely for internal purposes. It is not possible to trace this information back to you as a person.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

When you visit a page of our website that contains a social plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers. Security
We have in place appropriate technical and security measures to prevent unauthorised or unlawful access to or accidental loss of or destruction or damage to your information. When we collect data through the Site, we collect your personal details on a secure server. We use firewalls on our servers. When we collect payment card details electronically, we use encryption by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) coding. Whilst we are unable to guarantee 100% security, this makes it hard for a hacker to decrypt your details. You are strongly recommended not to send full credit or debit card details in unencrypted electronic communications with us. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of your information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you. You are responsible for protecting against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer.
 
Your rights
If you are concerned about your data you have the right to request access to the personal data which we may hold or process about you. You have the right to require us to correct any inaccuracies in your data free of charge.
